Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift Med/Surg Tele Float RN with NY licensure, BLS certification, and EPIC experience required.
Responsibilities
- Position based in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry float unit
- Night shift with 3x12 hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; option to request 4x12 hour shifts
- Includes required floating to multiple units as needed
- Uses Epic EMR system
- First time travelers are accepted for this position
- Responsible for providing care across various Med/Surg Tele units as part of the float pool
- Up to three call-off shifts permitted per 13 week assignment
- All scheduling or time off requests must be made at the start of the assignment
Requirements
- Active NY RN license in hand
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 1 year of recent MS/Tele nursing experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
