Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Local Contract

• Number of Beds – 12 OR rooms
• Number of Staff – 38 RNs 6 PD RNs, 12 Benefited techs 1PD Tech
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – Current 16 Benefited RN including charge, 6-7 OR Techs.
  • Mid shift – 4 Teams
  • Evening shift - 1 Team
• EMR - Meditech
• Typical Procedures:
  • Neuro, Spine, Total Joint, Gastric Sleeves, Major General surgery, ENT, Pediatric, urology
  • Heart- CABG and Valves

Must Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of OR RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting - Heart Experience for the heart room - CA RN License - ACLS and BLS Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - CNOR - Other area skills in different specialties like Robotics, Ortho, Eye, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Thoracic and General - MediTech Experience - Travel Experience
