Stable day shift with overtime and skill growth at an industry-leading fabrication shop. Welder role in Alma, MI; full-time Mon–Fri 6:00–14:30 with possible Saturday OT; hourly $22.10; permanent position in industrial fabrication using MIG/TIG welding. - High school diploma or GED - Proven MIG and TIG welding experience - Able to read tape measure and engineered drawings - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving - Good verbal/written communication

Our client, an industry leader in fabrication and manufacturing, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the fabrication process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: ALMA, MI

Pay Range: $22.10

Shift: 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday - overtime can be on Saturdays

What's the Job?

• Fabricate items such as tubes, walls, and furniture frames using MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Follow pre-established installation and quality methods, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency of work
• Read order-specific job travelers and engineered drawings to produce items to specifications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, supporting continuous improvement efforts

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow instructions
