Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Charting System: Cerner
Trauma Level: Level 1
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a Level 1 Trauma acute care facility in Phoenix, AZ. The RN will provide high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients, manage complex cases, and work in a fast-paced environment including MICU, SICU, and Trauma ICU units.
Candidates must be comfortable with ventilated patients, titratable drips, and working in a large teaching hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Adult ICU (MICU, SICU, Trauma ICU)
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients
- Titrate drips and manage ventilated patients
- Interpret telemetry and patient monitoring data
- Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- Maintain sterile field during procedures and SIMs lab
- Collaborate with intensivists and healthcare teams
- Float to other ICU or MedSurg/Tele units as required
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in Cerner
- Follow hospital safety and patient care protocols

- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (Required)
- Level 1 Trauma experience (Mandatory)
- Experience in 600+ bed teaching hospital (Required)
- ACLS Certification (Required)
