The Opportunity:
A progressive, mission-driven community hospital in Upstate New Yorks scenic Hudson Valley is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Endocrinologist to join its outpatient specialty clinic. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and osteoporosis
- Perform comprehensive consultations and follow-ups in a 100% outpatient setting
- Manage insulin pumps, CGMs, and other endocrine-related technologies
- Collaborate with PCPs and specialists to coordinate care
- Order, interpret, and follow up on labs and imaging
- Educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle changes
- Participate in quality initiatives and community outreach programs
- Minimal (if any) call primarily outpatient-focused
- Utilize EPIC EMR for all documentation and care coordination
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- Eligible for NY medical license and hospital credentialing
- Passion for working in rural or underserved communities
- Interest in telehealth a plus
