Join a mission-driven team at Houston, TX, and surrounding Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). We are seeking 6 full-time Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physicians to provide comprehensive primary care services to our nation s veterans.
Position Overview:Start Date: On or about October 1, 2025
Duration: Base year with four (4) one-year options
Location: Onsite at Michael E. DeBakey VAMC and/or one of 11 CBOCs (listed below)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (No nights/weekends/holidays)
FTE Requirement: 6.0 Full-Time Equivalents (minimum 80 hours biweekly per physician)
Setting: Primary care/internal medicine outpatient services
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
Current DEA Certificate
BLS (AHA required); ACLS preferred
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Willingness to relocate or live within 90 miles of Houston, TX (preferred)
Commitment to full-time onsite work for the duration of the contract
Updated CV with any employment gaps explained
Copy of Board Certification or Board Eligibility documentation
Copy of active, unrestricted state medical license
Copy of DEA certificate
Current AHA-issued BLS certificate (ACLS if available)
Three (3) professional references with emails
Serve veterans in a patient-centered, team-based care model
Stable, long-term contract (up to 5 years total)
Federal work environment with Joint Commission standards
