RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be indicated on submission form)
• 26-week assignment length
• Weekend hours required every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 30-bed orthopedic unit
• 2 years of orthopedic experience required (inpatient only)
• Current RN license required (must meet Missouri licensure criteria or be currently licensed in Missouri)
• Required certification: BLS from AHA only
• Preferred certification: ACLS from AHA only
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Black scrubs required
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Care for patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of the shift, lifting and turning patients with assistance, and ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs
• High risk exposure to blood and body fluids
• Flu vaccination required November 1 - April 1 with no declinations accepted
