Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Ultrasound Technician to provide top-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position requires performing advanced ultrasound procedures across a variety of clinical areas, including abdomen, breast, small parts, vascular, and OB-GYN (1st to 3rd trimester, including fetal and Biophysical Profiles). The ideal candidate will bring proficiency, reliability, and a commitment to patient care excellence. This role is critical to supporting healthcare teams and ensuring accurate diagnoses in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills Proven expertise in performing ultrasound examinations, including abdomen, breast, small parts, vascular, and OB-GYN imaging Ability to operate ultrasound equipment efficiently and independently Strong knowledge of fetal and BPP ultrasound procedures Competent in patient positioning, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and handle call rotations efficiently Reside in Pecos during assignments and have housing arrangements in place Must possess current ultrasound technologist certification (ARDMS or equivalent) Nice to Have Skills Experience with high-risk OB-GYN ultrasounds and fetal monitoring Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations Familiarity with hospital or clinical environments with limited local housing options Previous travel or locum tenens experience Preferred Education and Experience Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of professional ultrasound experience in a clinical setting Prior experience in OB-GYN and vascular ultrasound imaging Other Requirements Ability to work the designated shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Ability to participate in call rotation as required Valid licensure and certification in Ultrasound technology Willingness to travel, if necessary, with applicable reimbursements for travel, licensure, and certification fees Take your ultrasound career to the next level with this rewarding opportunity apply today to join a team committed to excellence in patient care and professional growth.
