This locum tenens Family Practice physician role involves providing primary care evaluations for inmates at a county jail in Northern California. Position Overview:
We have immediate need for five (5) locum Primary Care Physicians (MDs) to provide general physical evaluations for a county jail located in northern California. The MDs will be working in a clinic setting providing general evals to the population. This offers a great Work/Life balance with seeing just 12-15 patients per day. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Credentialling and onboarding takes approximately 3-4 weeks.
Salary: $175 Hourly

- Ensure that patient care meets correctional health care and community care standards including staff adherence to local, state, and federal laws.
- Provide consultation and direction to clinical staff.
- Proactively identify, treat, and manage inmates with serious medical conditions.
- Establish and maintain practice standards for all providers, including policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Establish and maintain greater access to on-site and off-site specialty services and providers
- Additional responsibilities applicable - available upon detailed phone interview
Credentialling and onboarding takes approximately 3-4 weeks.
Salary: $175 Hourly
Hours & Schedule:
- Day shift and Night shift available
- Full time & Part time shifts available

Items Required for Submission:
- Current CV without any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school- written explanations are accepted
- Active, unrestricted California State Medical License with verification
- Current DEA
- BLS- American Heart Association (AHA) required
