The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures under supervision, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and technology to capture quality images. They are responsible for patient care, adhering to hospital protocols, and managing imaging records through RIS/PACS and HIS systems. Certification through ARDMS and ongoing education are required, along with proficiency in multiple ultrasound specialties and customer service skills.
Under the supervision of a radiologist, provider or department leadership, competently performs ultrasound imaging examinations and procedures. Must have the ability to recognize cross-sectional anatomy. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results.

Minimum Work Experience
- Prior experience or training in general abdomen ultrasound, OB/GYN, pelvic, transvaginal, breast, carotid/venous studies, and small parts.
Pay Range = $31.71 - $46.88
