CVOR Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Nashville, TN (37232) – Tennessee nursing jobs
• Healthcare Setting: 300-bed hospital, 16 OR beds
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
• Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Shift: 10-hour days (0630-1700), variable days
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025, End: 2/9/2026)
• Weekend Call: Rotational basis, Saturday 0630 through Monday 0630
• Scrubs: Provided by hospital linen services
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2630 - $2820

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience
• At least 2 years of pediatric nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Experience in Level I trauma hospital or similar acute care environment
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• COVID vaccine series completed or valid exemption by start date

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

• Circulate in CVOR for pediatric surgical patients (ages 0-18; occasional adult cases)
• Deliver clinical support for surgical patients in specialties including eyes, general, ortho, neuro, ENT, urology, plastics, burns
• Float to other operating room units based on competency, excluding cardiac and GI
• Participate in weekend call rotation and work late shifts as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
