Tele Health Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist Part Time Locum Tenens Psychiatrist Job in the California Bay AreaDetails/Requirements: Need starts in early January and ongoing for 24 hours a week treating seriously mentally ill adult outpatients.
100% tele health.
Hours: 8A-5P Monday-Friday. Client prefers the locum tenens doctor to work at least 3 days per week and split the 24 hours across several days. There is flex regrading how this is done across the week.
No call.
Need a doctor with SMI experience and experience prescribing Clozaril as well as prescribing meds for patients with schizophrenia, bipolar, very severe treatment resistant depression, etc.
Initial evaluations are 60-90 minutes and medication follow ups are 20-30 minutes. For patients new to the doctor, can spend longer with the patient based on what's best for the patient.
Client has an electronic health record so candidates must be computer savvy.
Can take up to a month for credentialing but can be done in as little as two weeks.
Board certification is preferred, not required.
Client will consider 3 to 6 months minimum assignments. Preference is 6 months, if possible.
