Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute inpatient experience and a CT PT license for an acute care hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient acute care hospital environment
- Level II Trauma center with 456 beds
- Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients
- Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotating weekends and holiday coverage
- Main responsibilities include performing evaluations and treatments for acute care patients
- Holiday and rotating weekend shifts are required
- Local candidates permitted within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate
- Returning employees may require a review process to determine eligibility to return
Requirements
- Active CT PT license required; license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of acute hospital physical therapy experience required
- Functional Independent Measurement (FIM) certification in inpatient rehab settings is preferred
- Two professional references from previous managers are required
