Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active IN or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Unit cares for diverse medical and surgical telemetry patients
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Returning travelers must not have been permanent staff at a CHS facility within the past 2 years
• Patient care duties involve managing patients with medical and surgical telemetry needs
• Supportive team environment with collaborative nursing staff

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry nursing required
• No lapses in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• No certifications can expire within the first 30 days of the contract
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years are not eligible
• No local travelers; candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius
