A locum tenens Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician providing inpatient clinical care in an acute psychiatric unit with a 60-bed facility. Responsible for diagnosing and treating various mental health disorders including anxiety, affective, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders, as well as ADD/ADHD, using pharmacotherapy and specialized techniques. Duties include supervision of advanced practice providers, managing involuntary commitments, and working a 7 on/7 off shift schedule with patient volume of 18-20 per day.
