Join Our Dynamic Neurosurgery Team in Pueblo, Colorado!
The thriving UCHealth Medical Group in Pueblo, Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Board-Eligible/Board Certified Neurosurgeon to join our established and supportive neurosurgery team. Our facility is committed to providing outstanding patient care and innovative treatment options in a community that is truly in need. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on general neurosurgery and opportunities to build a strong elective spine practice.
- Conduct clinic visits, averaging 8 to 12 patients per day, with the support of 3-4 physician assistants.
- Schedule includes 2 days in clinic and 2 days in the operating room, with 1 flexible day.
- Participate in ER call, approximately 7 days per month, with imaging review from home and minimal in-person requirements.
- Join a collegial team consisting of one other neurosurgeon and four experienced advanced practice providers.
- Utilize advanced neuro-navigation tools, including the Globus Robot and Stryker, to provide cutting-edge treatment.
- Engage in a practice setting that includes both clinic and hospital environments, contributing to the growth of our neurosurgery program.
Qualifications:
- Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible through the ABNS.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
- Desire to practice in a supportive and underserved community.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
- Maintain a clean malpractice record.
