A Boston area community health center is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a Site Medical Director position.
About the opportunity:
- The Medical Director will provide leadership to the clinical staff and maintain a clinical practice of 24 hours weekly.
- 24 Clinical hours, 16 Administrative hours.
- Clinical and administrative supports include onsite lab, pharmacy, integrated behavioral health, specialty, OBAT, and community outreach teams, WIC/food pantry, and more!
- Opportunities to precept residents and students at the health center.
- Duties include recruiting, supervising, and evaluating all primary care providers and specialists. Key responsibilities also encompass process improvement focused on clinical care, patient access, staffing, utilization management, and patient scheduling. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement and compliance efforts, as well as budgeting and strategic planning.
- This is an outstanding opportunity to provide administrative oversight and direction for the clinical, operational, and educational functions of our health centers.
- The Director will have a highly visible role in practice transformation and implementation of a medical home model and will be a leader in healthcare delivery innovation.
- An ideal candidate will be board-certified in Family Medicine with five or more years of experience.
