Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN with a CA license, intermediate fetal monitoring, and OR circulating skills for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit at a hospital
• Responsible for laboring and delivering patients, including circulating in the OR
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (18:45-07:15)
• Must be available to complete required lab work within 3-5 days of accepting contract
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved during the contract
• Duties include monitoring labor, assisting with deliveries, and supporting obstetric procedures
• Candidates must provide supervisor references from within the past two years

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Proficiency with intermediate fetal monitoring required
• Experience circulating in the operating room required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler
• Returning travelers must have at least 1 year of separation from previous employment at this facility
