The role involves clinical practice, surgical procedures with advanced ophthalmic technology, and participation in resident teaching and collaborative projects. General Ophthalmologist opening in MA Located in Burlington, MA Full-time, permanent positionInterest in Cornea or Glaucoma welcomedAbout Position & Facility: - Offers a position for a general ophthalmologist to join the Division of Ophthalmology. - Physician-led, multi-disciplinary group practice of more than 600 doctors. - Two hospitals (Burlington and Peabody) and multiple satellite clinics located in the northern and western suburbs of Boston. - Area provides excellent school systems, abundant cultural activities, and convenient access to the mountains and seacoast. - 317-bed tertiary care facility with outpatient clinics and Level I trauma center located in Burlington, MA. - Fully integrated EPIC EHR platform. - Dynamic ophthalmology service with 16 comprehensive and subspecialty ophthalmologists and 8 optometrists.Facility Equipment & Technology: - Operating rooms equipped with LenSx, Centurion phacoemulsification machines, Zeiss Lumera microscopes, ORA system, ECP, and MicroPulse laser unit. - Clinics equipped with lasers (Argon, SLT, Nd:YAG) and updated, new diagnostic testing OCTs, Optos, Visual fields, ERGs. - Offers anterior segment OCT imaging and dry eye management and treatment technologies, LipiScan, LipiView, and IPL.Requirements: - Board certified or eligible general ophthalmologist with excellent surgical and clinical skills. - Expected to take part in resident teaching and collaborate with colleagues on clinical, academic, and administrative projects.
