American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient experience and active licensure for a 13-week clinic-based contract.
Responsibilities- Outpatient occupational therapy in a clinic setting within an acute care environment
- Day shift position with 8-hour shifts, with consideration for 10-hour shifts
- No holiday shifts required
- Charting is completed using Cerner EMR; prior Cerner experience is preferred
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for an outpatient population
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- 12 hours of orientation provided at the beginning of assignment
- Candidates may not have been employed by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility in the past year
- Specific radius requirements may apply for some states; contact for further information
- Active state or compact OT license required; pending licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient occupational therapy experience
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years
- Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
