Internal/Family Medicine Physician Opportunity Near BRONX, NY Job Summary: We are actively seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained physician to join our healthcare team in the pursuit of delivering high-quality patient care. Proficiency in bilingual Spanish is highly desired to enhance our ability to serve the diverse community we cater to. Responsibilities: Comprehensive Primary Care: Provide a full scope of primary care services, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance. Patient Evaluation: Review patient s history and perform thorough physical examinations. Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care. Refer patients to specialists as needed. Clinical Diagnostics: Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care. Review all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits. Prescription and Management: Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans. Relationship-Centered Care: Provide relationship-centered care, taking into account the patient s psychosocial and physical needs. Documentation and Communication: Collect and record patient information, maintaining complete and accurate medical records. Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care. Education and Collaboration: Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings. Qualifications: Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent. Residency: Completion of a three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine. Experience: Open to both experienced and newly trained providers. Certification: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine. Licensure: Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license or be eligible for licensure. Registration: Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration. Enrollment: Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll. Certification: BLS or ACLS strongly preferred. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Technology Comfort: Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
