Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – School-BasedWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person support at a specialized school in Philadelphia, PA. This position is for maternity leave coverage through June 18, with potential Extended School Year (ESY) opportunities from July 7 – August 2.
Position Details:- Role: SLP or SLPA (School-Based)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM
- ESY (if extended): Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 2:15 PM
- Student Population: Students with unique communication needs in a specialized learning environment
Responsibilities:- Provide direct speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Maintain accurate progress documentation and reports in compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications:- SLP: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, and state licensure
- SLPA: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, plus state licensure
- Experience in a school-based or specialized setting preferred
- Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus
