Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual occurrences.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support compliance with facility rules.
Document and report observations, incidents, and suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents or critical situations.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
