This position involves providing comprehensive primary medical care to female inmates in a correctional facility, including physical exams, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals. The physician is responsible for managing acute and chronic conditions, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and documenting medical records while also supporting staff health needs. They may participate in administrative duties and are supervised by the Deputy Medical Director.
