Primary location is Deaconess IL Medical Center Shift Requirement: 12hr NightsFloat Requirement: if needed, would float to step down level careOn Call/Call Back Requirement: N/AWeekend/Holiday Requirement: every other weekend/every other holiday rotationRequired Certs to be attached upon submittal
Must have current IL license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.Minimum Experience: Must have 2 years of ICU experience, prefer 3. 1 travel assignment required. Skillset:REQUIRED: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills. Tele/EKG interpretation (will take an exam first day), ETT/vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.), sepsis protocols/care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocol. Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!PREFERRED: tPa administration/assessments, massive transfusion (Belmont). Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 18 beds. Patients are a mix of ICU and step-down level of care. Ratios (ICU: 2:1, Stepdown: 3:1)
