Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist with a NY state license and a strong background in neuro and orthopedic cases.
Responsibilities
- Position is split between two outpatient locations on a set schedule
- Patient population focuses on neuro and orthopedic diagnoses
- Work schedule varies Monday through Thursday between 7 am and 6 pm, and Friday between 7 am and 4:30 pm, with a combination of early and late shifts each week
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with a variety of neuro and orthopedic conditions
- Travelers will be required to complete online training modules prior to assignment start
- Local candidates within 60 miles are eligible at a reduced rate
- Candidates with a history of employment at affiliated facilities may require a review to determine eligibility to return
- Timekeeping is managed using Kronos
Requirements
- Current NY Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist required
- Outpatient experience with neuro and ortho cases preferred
- Two professional references from previous managers in the current discipline or specialty are required
