American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position in a busy unit requiring an IL RN license and AHA certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a busy labor and delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Care for labor and delivery, OB emergency department, and antepartum patients
- Unit supports a Level III NICU
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- Requires working every other weekend
- Holiday rotation coverage is required
- Care for patients through labor, delivery, and antepartum phases in a high-acuity environment
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary perinatal and neonatal team
- Local candidates are accepted, but are subject to a reduced local rate per facility radius rules
- COVID vaccination is no longer required
- All positions are offered via auto-offer process
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- License must be verified via Nursys with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
- Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
- Driver’s License copy, two separate professional references, and completed skills checklist required for consideration
