Travel Nursing Job Details- Location: Gillette, Wyoming (82716) – Northeast Wyoming healthcare jobs
- Facility Setting: Maternal Child Unit – Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, Well-Baby, and NICU
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (rotating day/night shifts available)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050-$2200
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Scrubs Provided
- Active RN license in Wyoming or compact state (or eligibility for temporary WY RN license)
- Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience in Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum (including couplet care)
- BLS (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- Experience administering Pitocin and/or Magnesium drips
- Demonstrated ability to care for high-risk antenatal and perinatal patients
- Knowledge of tertiary level Maternal Fetal Medicine preferred
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to other clinical support staff
- Practice in accordance with the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and AWHONN/AAP guidelines
- Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, including Pitocin administration and active labor management
- Deliver post-partum and couplet care, maintaining safe patient ratios
- Care for high-risk patients and contribute to Maternal Child department quality improvement initiatives
- Work every other weekend and holidays as required; opportunities for additional shifts available
