Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) night shift position in California, requiring a CA RN license and recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a CVICU setting within a hospital environment
- Primarily cares for cardiovascular ICU patients
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week assignment
- EMR system used is Epic
- All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
- Contingent workers may not exceed two years of assignment without a 90-day break
- COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time equivalent ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Last four digits of SSN and date of birth must be provided
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in progressive or intermediate care unit
