RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Urology
Job Details:
• Work as a clinic RN maintaining clinic flow for patients and providers in the urology clinic
• Assist clinic healthcare providers with patient examinations, phone calls, treatments and procedures
• Maintain responsibility for patient medical record documentation
• Collect and prepare specimens as needed
• Administer medications as ordered by providers
• Graduate of an accredited RN program required
• Current Iowa nursing license required
• 3 years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care setting preferred
• Acute care and/or Home Health nursing for cardiac or diabetic patients preferred
• Prior phone triage, ER triage, MD office triage, or combined Adult/Pediatric experience preferred
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required within three months of hire
• Must possess superior nursing process skills and patient service focus
• Requires excellent telephone communication and customer service skills
• Must be organized, able to set priorities and work effectively under pressure with minimum supervision
• Basic PC skills and comfort with Windows Operating Systems required
• Professional organization membership or specialty certification highly desired
