Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on a night shift requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population consists of laboring mothers and newborns
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week travel assignment
- Provide nursing care to mothers before, during, and after delivery as well as to newborns
- Holiday coverage may be required as part of staff rotation
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certifications accepted and must not expire within 30 days of start
- Must provide valid US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
