Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Location: San Bernardino CA
Shift: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
Schedule: 2 weekends per 4-week schedule | 1 major + 1 minor holiday | No call

Position Overview

Join a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit averaging 150 births per month. This Baby-Friendly facility cares for a diverse, high-risk patient population, including preterm labor, hypertension, diabetes, multiple gestations, and limited prenatal care.

Unit Details

• 10 L&D beds | 4 triage beds | 17 postpartum beds
• Level II NICU (Level III transfers)
• Ratios: 1:2
• OB Techs (1 per shift) & Charge RN support
• OB & Anesthesia in-house 24/7
• RT & Pharmacy available 24/7
• EMR: Cerner PowerChart | Fetal Monitoring: GE Fetal Link
• No floating | No IV team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience (travel experience preferred)
• Must be able to circulate for C-sections
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN (STABLE preferred)
