This locum tenens vascular neurologist position in Pennsylvania involves inpatient rounding, consults, and stroke code responses, focusing exclusively on adult stroke patients. The role requires weekend coverage with no outpatient or clinic duties and collaboration with hospitalists. Candidates must be board certified or eligible, hold relevant certifications, and be licensed or in the process of obtaining a Pennsylvania medical license.
Coverage Needed ASAP - ongoing Schedule 1 week: Monday at 7A to the following Monday at 7A. Est. 7 shifts/month Clinical Details No general neurology coverage. No outpatient/clinic. Inpatient rounding (up to 20 patients), inpatient consults, ED consults, respond to stroke codes. Round on stroke patients on weekends. Hospitalists admit patients, locum vascular neurologist is a consultant and will place some orders. Will work solo 100% adult Typical cases seen: Inpatient stroke patients and patients with stroke complications Requirements ACLS Stroke certified PA license Will accept candidates needing to obtain a license Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Must have completed vascular neurology fellowship EMR Cerner
