We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our hospital-employed hospitalist group in a thriving, close-knit community in south central Alabama! This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope inpatient medicine in a supportive environment with a convenient 7-on / 7-off schedule.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, thrive in an independent hospitalist role, and enjoy the rewards of practicing in a community hospital setting.
Position Details
7-on / 7-off schedule of 12-hour shifts (Nocturnist position)
88-bed hospital offering comprehensive diagnostic, emergency, and surgical services
Serving a growing population of 70,000+ in the surrounding region
Collaborative hospital environment with a focus on quality and continuity of care
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation at or above MGMA median, based on experience
$10,000 Sign-on bonus
$10,000 Relocation allowance

Qualifications
Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) required
Active Alabama License (or eligibility) required
Hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred
ACLS/BLS certification required
