About the Position
Position Title: Orthopedic Surgeon Locum Tenens
Location: New Jersey (Hospital-Based Level 2 Trauma Center)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Credentialing Timeframe: days
Schedule & CallCoverage: 24/7 (Combination of in-house, on-call, and intermittent coverage)
In-House Shift: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call Shift: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM (night call)
Call Ratio: 1:3 Minimum 10 call days/month; up to 14 possible
Clinic Day: 1 half-day per week (approx. 5 10 patients, indigent population)
Total Annual Cases: 700
Call Covers: Two locations

Clinic Volume: 6 patients on clinic day (half-day)
Surgical Volume: 3 5 surgical cases per day

Orthopedic Surgeons on Staff: Private practice coverage (approx. 10)
Pediatrics: No peds at this time
