Job DescriptionJoin our fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a Level 1 Trauma center, where we cater to both inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses in this role will work within a multidisciplinary team, responsible for the pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery of patients, as well as providing overnight observation care.
Responsibilities- Provide pre- and post-procedural care for Interventional Radiology patients.
- Oversee 23-hour care for patients boarding overnight pre- or post-procedure.
- Assist in the preparation and care of patients undergoing various imaging procedures, including CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
- 2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience.
- Telemetry experience.
- New York RN license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
