MRI Technologist - Urgent Need!!
Location: Metairie, LA
Position Type: Full Time
Job Shift: Days
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging results.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
- Educate patients about procedures and provide guidance for aftercare.
Qualifications
- ARRT Certification required.
- State licensure.
- 1–2 years of MRI experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care excellence.
- Two-Year Degree required.
