We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting on Apr 1, 2026, with a 12-week contract. This opportunity involves providing three weekday shifts per month, 8am-5pm, supporting the APP team and managing patients requiring chemotherapy or care for blood disorders. Job Details Location: Ohio Start Date: Apr 1, 2026 LOA: 12 weeks Provider Type Needed: Hematology/Oncology Physician Schedule: 3 weekdays per month, 8am-5pm; specific dates include Mar 2-6 (any 3 shifts), Apr 1-3, May 11-15 (any 3 shifts), June & July: TBD Responsibilities and Duties Evaluate and manage new patients needing chemotherapy or with blood disorders Develop and formalize care plans according to NCCN guidelines Place and manage orders in the system, including reauthorizations Collaborate and provide support to the APP team Additional Information Active Ohio medical license required Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Willingness to work collaboratively with the APP team is essential Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
