The Department of Radiology at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting two full-time Interventional Radiologists for faculty positions. Candidates may be appointed in either the Clinical X Series or the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) Series, depending on qualifications and career interests.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $425,000 $525,000 annually
Additional Compensation:
- $35,000 negotiated salary annually
- Up to $40,000 call pay annually
- Up to $20,000 bonus annually
Professional Development:
- Annual allotment for licenses and conferences
One-Time Bonuses:
- Up to $40,000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $20,000 relocation allotment
Academic Series Criteria
Clinical X Series:
- Conduct meaningful research
- Provide patient care
- Teach residents and medical students
- Perform public and university service
Strong interest in research is essential
Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) Series:
- Teach residents and medical students
- Provide patient care
- Contribute to scholarly activities

- Integrated IR/DR residency program with 10 IR/DR residents

- GE procedural CT scanners
- Dedicated ultrasound procedure rooms
️ Faculty Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient and outpatient interventional procedures
- Participate in robust inpatient consult service and outpatient clinic
- Supervise IR/DR residents, medical students, and PA/NPs
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences
- Academic time available for grant-funded or administrative roles
