Director of Operations Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the Area Directors to ensure the success of their teams and operations.
- Multi Unit experience with the ability to travel!
- Facilitate hands-on training and development for team members and leadership.
- Conduct strategic analysis and participate in company-wide communication to align objectives and ensure continuous improvement. Effective leadership in all areas of people, guests, sales, and profits.
- Maintain a mindset of approachability. Build strong relationships with both team members and leadership, actively fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Oversee the operational standards and performance of the restaurants across multiple markets in collaboration with the Area Directors.
- Drive financial progress by managing sales, profits, and ensuring budgeted EBITDA targets are achieved.
Director of Operations Qualifications:
- Champions and reinforces the organization’s mission, vision, and guiding principles.
- Contributes to the development of detailed annual budgets for restaurant operations.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to assess financial performance and drive strategies that enhance profitability and growth.
- Conducts regular market visits to ensure consistency in operational execution; role requires spending 75% of the week in the field.
- Directs and organizes operations team meetings to align on goals and performance.
- Addresses employee relations matters quickly and effectively in partnership with HR.
