Hospital seeking Registered Nurse for PCU/Stepdown to provide specialized care for medium-to-high acuity patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac drip management, post-intervention care, and respiratory support. Position requires an ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS and ACLS, proficiency with EMR, and about 1 year of experience in progressive care, neurology, or cardiac settings preferred. Shifts include day/night/mid with full-time, part-time, and per diem options and benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and sign-on bonuses.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
- Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
- Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
- Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations

Salary: $59,910 to $98,025 /year
