Job Description
The Sales Director is responsible for working in conjunction with internal partners to drive sales of the Ameritas Retirement Plan product line. The focus of this position will primarily be on recordkeeping opportunities in the PEO Association, MEP, and PEP markets. This position is responsible for attaining the assigned annual sales goal by developing, supporting, and driving sales through key strategic relationships.
- Develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans.
- Take ownership to hit or exceed annual sales and revenue targets within assigned channels.
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting advisor, customer and industry partner relationships, including PEO/Association industry organizations, HRIS and payroll providers, and other PEO/Association service providers.
- Provide product recommendations and delivery of customer solution presentations.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Direct and coordinate all sales activities for assigned channels/accounts.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 7-10 years of sales experience required, preferably in the PEO and Association MEP and PEP market.
- 50% travel for National Sales coverage in the PEO and Association MEP and PEP marketplace required.
