Responsibilities include auditing service quality, communicating service standards, collaborating with executives on operational goals, and mentoring future leaders. The role requires over 8 years of fine dining leadership experience and expertise in service excellence and beverage programs.
Seeking an experienced Service Director to oversee all dining room staff for a Michelin Starred Restaurant Group in California. The ideal candidate will have prior Michelin experience and impeccable service standards. This is a tremendous opportunity to join one of the best teams in hospitality.
Service Director Responsibilities:
- Oversee and audit guest experience to ensure excellence, consistency, and alignment with the company's principles.
- Communicate and coordinate all service changes/steps of service to the team and ensure that all guests receive impeccable service throughout their experience
- Collaborate with the executive team to align service standards with financial goals, operational processes, and business objectives.
- Mentor service managers and build a pipeline of talent for leadership roles.
Service Director Requirements:
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in fine dining (multi-unit or corporate experience preferred).
- Expert knowledge of fine dining service techniques, wine and beverage programs, and Forbes/LQA standards.
- Charming and eloquent person
- Exceptional tableside service
- Ability to work well with a team
- The ability to take on any role in the FOH- at any time, for the overall success of the team
