RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work on 2nd Medical unit in Building A with 28-bed capacity
• Patient ratios: Days 5-6:1, Nights 6:1
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday), flexible weekdays
• Unit staffing includes unit secretary and 2-3 PCTs during day shift
• Equipment includes Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, remote telemetry
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Floating policy: PRN, most often between Medical Surgical units
• Required certifications: BLS, NIH, CPI preferred
• Must have strong assessment skills and experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
• Procedures performed include IV and foley catheter placement
• Patient Experience requirements include BSSR and hourly rounding
• Dress code: Black or royal blue scrubs
