Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU Recovery position with night shifts and strict holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Recovery (PACU) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Must be willing to work at least 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Returning staff must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted up front
• Returning employees must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Current GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Will consider candidates with strong acute care RN experience
