This flagship regional medical center features a large, modern Emergency Department serving over 48,000 patients annually and is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and critical care infrastructure. The ED includes specialized treatment areas for trauma, mental health, and fast-track patients, offering a dynamic clinical environment for physicians who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.

Youll work with a collaborative and well-supported clinical team, including experienced Advanced Practice Providers and scribe coverage. With newly renovated facilities, high-volume exposure, and robust physician and APP support, this is an ideal role for Emergency Medicine physicians seeking competitive compensation in a professionally rewarding environment.

• $325/hr for Emergency Medicine locums

• ED volume: 48,000 annually

• 40-bed Emergency Department with CT and digital x-ray onsite

• Specialty treatment areas for critical care, mental health, and fast track

• 3641 hours/day of physician coverage

• 5569 hours/day of APP coverage

• Average 30 hours of daily scribe support

• EMR: McKesson

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice fully covered

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine

• Active Louisiana medical license

• Previous high-volume ER experience preferred
