The Registered Nurse must possess a valid license to practice in either the State of New York or the State of New Jersey and must possess at least one (1) year of experience in performing nursing assessments in occupational health and/or medical/surgical nursing.
The Registered Nurse task shall include but not limited to the following for all Port
Authority/PATH employees including new hires:
Assessments in connection with injury on duty evaluations, which includes obtaining
doctors’ notes and test results
Scheduling appointments for fitness for duty evaluations
Annual physical evaluations
Pre-placement physicals
Participation in employee health wellness and safety fairs at various PA New York and
New Jersey facilities
