About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified CT Tech in Roswell, Georgia, 30076!

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Roswell, GA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, operate CT equipment, and produce diagnostic-quality images for patient care.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
  • Current ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
  • Current ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required.
  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1 year radiology experience required. Experience in CT is preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with CT console operations, PACS image transfer, and power injection systems.
  • Ability to perform venipuncture and manage contrast administration per protocol.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions with physicians, patients, and multidisciplinary staff.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and function in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Willingness to take call when necessary.
  • Client requirement: flexibility with work hours to meet department needs and ability to assist across modalities as needed.

Standard Job Description:

Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative. Assist in providing safe, age-appropriate care by performing departmental CT exams according to procedure. Prepare equipment and position patients. Verify orders, obtain clinical history, assess for contraindications, and follow contrast administration protocols. Ensure proper patient identification and image quality. Respond to emergencies and maintain life support equipment readiness. Collaborate with technologists across modalities when needed. Observe and evaluate patient condition and notify physicians as indicated. Demonstrate competency in venipuncture, sterile technique, pre- and post-procedural care, and radiation dose optimization.


Operate CT equipment, check calibration, report malfunctions, and maintain infection control practices. Send studies to PACS, complete RIS documentation, and assist with printing and scanning as required. Restock supplies, transport and position patients, perform patient charging activities, and apply shielding and immobilization devices. Participate in orientation and training of departmental staff. Maintain Joint Commission and regulatory standards. Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Education and Certifications:

  • Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
  • ARRT-R and ARRT-CT required upon hire.
  • BLS required upon hire.


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year radiology experience required; CT experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in CT patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
