Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with Med/Surg Telemetry skills for a night shift assignment requiring a current OH or compact state license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Patient population includes adult med/surg and telemetry cases
• Floating may be required within the unit's scope
• Duties include comprehensive RN care for med/surg telemetry patients
• Must complete badging and onsite fingerprinting at the facility prior to start
• Modules and annual training are required and tracked via Silkroad
• Nurses and CSTs are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free requirements
• Cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals within 1 year of prior permanent or per diem employment
• Assignments cannot exceed 18 consecutive months without an approved extension; after 18 months, a 6 month break is required unless deferred by client
• Team support includes managers and supervisors for ongoing guidance

Requirements

• Active permanent OH RN license or compact state RN license in hand at time of consideration
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active with nothing pending
• At least 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience prior to travel
• One supervisory reference from your specialty is required for consideration
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with up to 2 attempts allowed
• Negative 10 panel plus nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
• No open background cases or license hits accepted
