Opportunity Details:

- Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift Schedule:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Minimum Commitment: 5 shifts per month
- Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
- Compensation: Competitive Weekly Pay + Travel & Lodging Provided
Facility Details:
- Hospital Beds: 66 (staffed)
- ICU Beds: 12
- Cath Lab: 1 (24/7 availability)
- Trauma Level: III
- Stroke Center Classification: Emergent Stroke Prep Center
- Annual ED Volume: 15,000
- Average ED Patients Per Hour: 1.7
- ED Beds: 13 + 3 Fast Track Beds
- Admission Rate: 16-17%
- EMR System: EPIC
Subspecialty & Backup Support:
- General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Hospital Medicine
- Cardiology (STEMI cases kept in-house), Pulmonology, Neurology
- OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Orthopedics
- Limited ENT, Limited Urology
- Tele-ICU Support for critically ill patients
- Imaging Services:
- 24/7 CT & MRI
- Ultrasound (Monday-Friday)
- Radiology with Nighthawk Service at Night
Provider Requirements:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM) or
- Board Certified in Family Medicine (ABFM) with Emergency Medicine Experience
- Active Kansas State License & Unrestricted DEA
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
- Minimum 2 Years of Emergency Medicine Experience Preferred
